What impact does this level of knowledge have on their use of nutrition information on food products?

What is well understood and which areas need further explanation from a public health perspective?

Consumer research results on in-store behaviour, understanding and use of nutrition information on food labels

EUFIC Consumer Research

It is important to understand what motivates consumers to make their food choices. The impact that such choices can have upon health, nutrition and lifestyle are fundamental. For this reason, EUFIC has been conducting its own consumer research to gain an understanding of what drives consumers to to eat what they eat.

This section provides you with insights and key findings about consumer motivation and nutritional information.
