Frequently Asked Questions

What is the Alcat test?

Spain

The ALCAT test is a test designed to determine food and chemical sensitivities. If you think you have food sensitivities it would be wise to visit a medical doctor for comprehensive testing and advice.
The ALCAT test is based on the swelling of white blood cells when they are incubated with extracts of different foods, chemicals, colorings, etc. The test has significant diagnostic value and has an 85% accuracy rating when compared against the gold standard, elimination diet. The ALCAT Test is available in most European countries e.g. U.K., Italy, Denmark, Holland, Ireland, Spain, Greece, Germany and Ukraine.
