Is cochineal red as food additive used in yogurts and milkshakes?

Spain

The conditions for the use of colours in foodstuffs are harmonised throughout the European Union based on the provision set by Council directive 94/36/EC. Cochineal red is a food additive (E120) and belongs to the group of colours which may be used in a selection of foods specified in the legislation. Yogurts and milkshakes do not belong to them.
