For breakfast, should I opt for bread, sweet pastries or cereals?

Breakfast should primarily contribute to carbohydrates intake (complex and simple). In general it is better to eat bread, rusks or cereals for breakfast, rather than sweet pastries with a high fat content; as an example, a croissant provides 10g of lipids. Consideration should be taken regarding what is spread on bread or rusks (butter, jam …) and cereals should be chosen according to your needs and tastes.
