Can fruit juice replace fruit?

It all depends on what we are talking about. Only fruit juice pressed at home or carrying the wording “100% pure juice” can replace a fruit and contribute to fulfilling the nutritional objectives (the much-publicised "5 per day"). Even so, you should not replace each fruit by a glass of fruit juice, which is higher in calories and less filling than a whole fruit.
