Frequently Asked Questions

Does the ingestion of genetically modified organisms have any long-term effect on health?

Mankind has always eaten genes without danger since most foods contain them: a plant contains from 10,000 to 75,000 genes per cell. Eating an apple means eating hundreds of millions of genes. Genes in plants modified by spontaneous or traditional methods are no different to biologically modified genes. Genes themselves are not toxic. What is important is the product the genes code for.
