Highlights from the 19th European Congress on Obesity 2012

In May 2012, experts from around the world gathered in Lyon for the 19th European Congress on Obesity, hosted by the European Association for the Study of Obesity (EASO). Global rates of obesity are rising rapidly, making the management and prevention of obesity and obesity-related disorders a top priority for government and public health initiatives. The programme drew over 2,500 participants from more than 80 countries and covered a range of obesity-related topics, including environment and prevention, genes, and clinical practice and management. In this podcast, EUFIC interviewed the following 13 speakers who summarise their research presented at the conference.
