What is podcasting?

Podcasting is a way to receive audio and/or video files over the Internet. Many content providers, including EUFIC, offer podcast feeds at no cost. These feeds deliver audio/video broadcasts to your desktop. You can listen to these files on your computer or load them on your MP3 player and take them with you for viewing or listening whenever you want.

Getting started

All you need to get started is podcasting software. Once you download and install the software, simply add one of EUFIC's podcast feeds. The podcasting software will automatically check for updates and download the files to your computer so you can load them on your MP3 player.

Listening

To listen to a podcasting segment click on  . The MP3 file will play directly on your computer.

To receive EUFIC feeds in your podcasting application:

  1. Click on EUFIC RSS for the feed you want. (You can right-click or option-click for a shortcut).
