Overcoming the barriers to physical activity

In June 2009, the Conference of the International Society of Behavioural Nutrition and Physical Activity took place in Cascais, Portugal. The conference gathered experts from around the globe to discuss effective interventions for the control of obesity and other diseases related to poor diet and inactivity. In a podcast interview, EUFIC spoke with Dr. Mikael Fogelholm, Director of the Health Research Unit at the Academy of Finland, about what keeps people from being physically active and how they could become more motivated.
