A podcasting bizonyos audio és/vagy video fájlok internetről való hozzáférésének egy útja. Számos tartalomszolgáltató, köztük az EUFIC, térítésmentesen ajánlja fel podcast anyagait. Ezek az anyagok audio/video közvetítéseket tesznek elérhetővé számítógépén. Meghallgathatja ezeket a fájlokat gépén vagy akár letöltheti MP3 lejátszójára, hogy meghallgathassa vagy megnézhesse őket, amikor csak szeretné.
Hogyan kezdje el?
Minden, ami a program indításához szükséges, az a podcasting szoftver. Ha már egyszer letöltötte és installálta a szoftvert, a továbbiakban egyszerűen csak hozzá kell rendelnie a kívánt EUFIC podcast anyagot. A podcasting szoftver automatikusan ellenőrzi az aktualitásokat, illetve letölti a fájlokat számítógépére, hogy átvehesse őket MP3 lejátszójára.

The latest Regulation by the European Commission on nutrition and health claims on foods has now been adopted and the European Food Safety Authority (EFSA) is currently assessing numerous potential claims for their scientific substantiation. In a podcast interview, EUFIC spoke with Prof. Klaus Grunert and Prof. Wim Verbeke, two renowned experts in consumer research, about how consumers perceive different claims in different product contexts.
In June 2009, the Conference of the International Society of Behavioural Nutrition and Physical Activity took place in Cascais, Portugal. The conference gathered experts from around the globe to discuss effective interventions for the control of obesity and other diseases related to poor diet and inactivity. In a podcast interview, EUFIC spoke with Dr. Mikael Fogelholm, Director of the Health Research Unit at the Academy of Finland, about what keeps people from being physically active and how those barriers could be overcome.

In the second of two podcasts recorded recently at the Second International Conference on Physical Activity & Public Health (ICPAPH) in Amsterdam, EUFIC spoke with Professors Nick Wareham and Ken Fox about the important part that physical activity can play in reducing the risk of chronic diseases and increasing mental well-being.
In the first of two podcasts recorded recently at the Second International Conference on Physical Activity & Public Health (ICPAPH) in Amsterdam, EUFIC spoke with Professors Steven Blair and Stuart Biddle about the impact of sedentary lifestyle behaviours and the conducive environments that support inactivity. Professor Blair details the risk associated with cardiovascular disease whilst Professor Biddle focuses on inactivity amongst Europe’s adolescents.
Food in Action 2007 looks at the motivational and behavioural aspects of obesity. Starting with how food choice develops in a young age, through consumer’s attitudes and behaviour towards food label information, Food in Action 2007 investigates the influence of the environment and the importance that psychological aspects play in the onset of obesity in an early age. Finally, the important role of physical activity in energy balance is tackled, together with ongoing initiatives and programmes aiming at finding solutions.
