    EAACI logo, European Academy of Allergy and Clinical ImmunologyThe European Academy of Allergy and Clinical Immunology (EAACI) is a non-profit association of clinicians, researchers and allied health professionals, dedicated to improving the health of people affected by anaphylaxis, food, drug and skin allergy, asthma, allergic rhinitis, occupational allergy, immune deficiencies.

    Since it’s founding in 1956 EAACI reached 9,000 members from 121 countries and 52 National Allergy Societies from Europe and Worldwide. The EAACI Patient Organisations Committee brings together the most influential Patient Organisations from all over the world and facilitates communication between all stakeholders involved in the field of allergy (clinicians and researchers, patients’ organisations, industry, regulatory bodies).

    Today, allergy is a public health concern of pandemic proportions. It affects more than 150 million people in Europe and one billion people worldwide and impacts greatly on health economics and quality of life. As the primary source of expertise in Europe and worldwide EAACI’s diverse range of activities are geared towards advancing scientific knowledge through publications (guidelines, position papers, consensus documents , Global Atlases of Allergy, Asthma and Allergic Rhinitis and Chronic Rhinosinusitis) and top notch meetings, and towards raising awareness and advocating for prevention, healthy living and for policy changes, with the ultimate goal of easing patients’ suffering.
