El proyecto YPACK de la UE desarrolla envases innovadores de alimentos biodegradables capaces de extender la vida útil de los alimentos

La contaminación por plásticos y la eliminación de envases de plástico de un solo uso es un gran problema de sostenibilidad que necesita soluciones innovadoras. Los resultados recientes del proyecto YPACK, financiado por la UE, muestran que una formulación innovadora de ingredientes activos podría permitir que este empaque de alimentos biodegradable prolongue la vida útil de los alimentos y, por lo tanto, reduzca el desperdicio de alimentos.
